Mountain Hikers Hiking Guided Treks:

Hi, my name is Prema Malla, and in Nepali, Prema means love.

I have a family, we have two dogs, and we live in the Kathmandu Valley. We run a hostel, which feels more like one big home.

I love my family, and I love my home.

Our home is called The Nepali Hive. 

We are a haven for travellers and trekkers, alike.

This is Mountain Hikers Hiking, and we change lives. 

Having lived in Nepal my whole life, I have trekked the Himalayan Mountains for over 25 years. I find joy in exploring the trails, and safely helping others on their trekking journies and guided expeditions, in the Himal Zone.

I also offer guided tours of Kathmandu to all of the local historical and cultural sights in the nearby area, including museums located near the hostel, as well as markets and bus stations for travellers looking for famous areas to explore around Nepal!

We have warm water and shower amenities, clean dormatories, spacious private rooms, a laundry service, small library, and furnished apartments, as well as an outdoor kitchen.

The Nepali Hive cafe  is also available, with masala chai, milk tea, coffee, thali khana set, and more, located on the sun roof terrace, above the hostel, open until 10.p.m.
